So my good friend across the pond Guise was kind enough to send me a care package for Halloween. I cannot tell you how awesome it was to get not only goodies from overseas but to get them from someone as cool as Guise. If you aren’t reading his blog you really should, he’s good people.
So now that I’ve got you interested in the contents of said box let’s delve into them shall we?
This is an over head shot of all the goodies I got, devils and vampires and monsters oh my!
I can’t tell you how awesome these little stuffed monsters are, I have the devil sitting here by my desk as we speak. He’s the main reason I haven’t been blogging more, you should see the things he’s tempted me with to keep me busy!! All it cost me was my soul and I wasn’t really using it anyway so I got a good deal right? Right? Drac’s floating around here somewhere, which explains why my neck is sore every morning when I wake up. Sneaky little bastard.
He was also kind enough to send some Monster Munch, which while oddly flavored was awfully damn tasty!!
If you’ve never had Monster Munch (and I’m assumng most of you haven’t) they taste similar to Funyuns but not exactly. If you’ve never had Funyuns then I can’t help you imagine the flavor. Of the three I’d have to say the Roast Beef were my favorite, then the Flamin’ Hot and finally the Pickled Onion.
I also received a box of Kinder Surprise eggs, these things are pretty cool but the “prizes” I gotta tell you are kinda creepy. I do have pictures of them but I don’t have them uploaded right now, as soon as I do I’ll take this paragraph out and show you the “Kinder Surprise” inside of them. This particulat box was Kung Fu Panda inspired and I gotta admit the toy I got from that was actually pretty cool. Again, when I get the pictures uploaded I’ll put them up here. Or I might listen to the Devil and keep you guessing, depends on what he offers me.
You ever tried a Milka bar? No? You should talk to my little red friend here because these things are freaking awesome!!! I envy the Brits because the chocolate they have over there is a lot smoother and richer than what we have here. After talking to Guise about it, I guess Milka are pretty cheap over there, kinda like a Snickers here but the difference is I’d trade my pinky toe for a box of Milka, you can keep the Snickers.
What’s this? Trick OR Treat?? Which do I open first? The treat of course!! You never know what those crafty Brits consider a trick!!
Oh Mama!! A Galaxy bar?!?! Guise I think I love you!! You remember what I said about Milka? That goes double for Galaxy bars. These things are just….you know I can’t even think of the words to describe them. What’s better than one Galaxy bar?
TWO Galaxy bars!!! Yeah baby!! Not only did I score a regular Galaxy bar, I also scored a dark chocolate Galaxy bar!! This baby was hidden in the Trick wrapper, but if this is Guise’s idea of a trick then he can feel free to trick me anyday! I’m saving this bad boy for a special occasion, the rest of the stuff sadly has already gone on to a far better place. Maybe not for it but I certainly enjoyed the hell out of it!!
So I guess what I’m saying is it’s good to have friends, especially friends who send you awesome care packages from other countries. In case your wondering yes I am going to repay the favor to my friend in the UK and no I’m not gonna tell you what I’m sending him. If he feels like sharing when he gets it thats up to him. So thanks Guise, your package was very much appreciated and enjoyed. You are awesome!!
